Three Woman

Have you ever felt that your desires and passions are gone? maybe this is the time for you to refill again. This nonfiction book is a medicine that you might need, journalism mixed with storytelling makes us stunned and swallowed, as if we would not believe it. Taken from the work of writer Lisa Taddeo who circled the state for more than 6 times. Passion and desire are explored without excessive fear in this book, although it remains in an elegant and without degrading way towards a woman. This book tells the story of 3 women, each of whom has her own story.

First we will meet Lina, a woman from the suburbs in Indiana, a housewife, mother of 2 children, Lina feels the fire of desire has been extinguished in her, a marriage that has been running for more than a decade has made everything looks like a normal routine, even now her husband is very reluctant to kiss her on the lips. The sauce of affection is a picture that fits lina. And when the social media gave her opportunity to unites with her love story in the past, that makes her desire came back to life, although she kind of like it, but this makes Lina panic. Infidelity that might be enjoyed but consumes all of lina’s energy and hope.

Second Story We will head to North Dakota to meet Maggie, a 17-year-old high school student who falls in love with her handsome English teacher, although prohibited by regulations, chat and phone calls every night make Maggie forget herself and eventually make physical contact with him. Maggie even planned to skip class on her 18th birthday and invited her teacher to enjoy time together and make love all day long. But what happened next, Maggie was dumped by her love, at that very moment when her teacher had his 30th birthday. A few years later, Maggie's life was inversely proportional to her ex-boyfriend's, the teacher was awarded as teacher of the year in North Dakota, while Maggie had nothing, career, titles and dreams have shattered like dust in the wind. This was told by Maggie, many of her friends and the jury did not believe when listening to her case in the trial. The trial was very shocking enough to shake their small, quiet city.

The third story takes place in the enclave of the Northeast, Sloane is a charming, wealthy woman who is also the owner of a restaurant. But there is one peculiarity experienced by Sloane, she has a happy marriage, but her husband, always wants to watch Sloane having sex with another man or another woman, sometimes they do threesome. And Sloane always managed to satisfy their desires and thirst. Her partner was always chosen by the husband, whether male or female. Sloane always thought in her heart, why her husband did that and whether his passion was drain for her, while Sloane had already enjoyed every scenario created by her husband. Until one day they invited a man to bed, and the man intended to divulge their secrets they had been doing for so long. Sloane was forced to face the forces that want to unmask the lifestyle they live so far.

This book received a satisfactory appreciation because it was considered to represent honesty about the opinions of American women regarding erotica and sex. Lisa Taddeo neatly packs the results of her research with storytelling, that’s enough to make the reader curious. When some people are being dishonest in their experience and choose to keep it tightly in their hearts. The experiences of these three women may be chosen by Lisa because there are unique elements, passionately story, and making curious for some women who want to see the perspective of the perpetrators. Maybe some of us still feel taboo to expose our personal experience into public consumption.

Until one morning an event occurred that made everything does not look the same again. This novel takes place in a small town house in north Manhattan in 1973, this book teaches a lot that bad experiences in childhood will bring big changes later on. Even though there are many obstacles in the relationship of these two neighboring people that don't make kate and peter break their relationship, this makes their relationship even tighter.

This novel is very good considering what is written could remind you of your unpleasant experiences in the past. Conflict and love are the main ingredients of this book, coupled with anne's problems that experience mental instability. Good writing reads flowing very smoothly making reading irreversible. For those of you, who like household drama, this book worthy of a 5 star. The most important thing in my opinion is that there is a moral message that the author wants to convey, love will make things easy, what you experienced yesterday will have an effect today, maybe tomorrow too.

The novel written by Kate Quin, a writer who often gets the title of national best seller. This novel consists of two stories, the first story was in 1915, is an Eve Gardiner who is very passionate about joining the war against Germany, and she gets a chance when the allies recruit her to become a spy in The Alice Networks. Eve was sent to France which was then in German occupation. Eve trained by Louise de Bettignies, a character that really exists, lili was Louise’s code name. Eve’s code name was Marguerite, eve was placed in a restaurant in the city of lille, the Alice network was finally revealed because there was a betrayal and this make eve frustrated, then spent her day drunk and exiled in her destroyed home in London until 1947 which was the second story timeline, there was a charlotte st Claire, a 19 year old American who has come over to France with her mother,a pregnant woman who was told by her family to have an abortion in Swithzerland. But Charlotte finally breaks free and go to the london, the main reason for escaping because she wanted to find his beloved cousin named rose who disappeared in France during the occupation of Nazi. Her search brings her to Eve, making them both on a mission to find the truth, wherever it leads.
